Tailored, clinical support for individuals with chronic, long-term conditions or significant injuries Our clients needs vary depending on the setting. We support client requirements whether the need is Emergency or Critical Care with A&E, ICU, CCU or Progressive Care nursing, Private Hospitals with Theatre requirements such as Surgical Care Practitioners or Specialised Care such as nursing staff competent within tracheostomy care, catheter care, stoma support, bowel management, and ventilator monitoring.

What you need to register with us

To join Express Nursing as an agency Registered General Nurse, you’ll need:
A valid NMC PIN
Right to Work with no Restrictions (We can’t accept 20 hour VISA candidates)
At least 18 months of UK nursing experience
A copy of your enhanced DBS (Don’t worry if you don’t have one—we can apply for this as part of your onboarding process)
Two clinical references
Once you have these, our recruitment team will guide you through the process, making it as smooth and straightforward as possible.

Where can I expect to work?

Express Nursing work with certain NHS Hospitals with a focus on Wales. We have shifts in 3 Healthboards with dedicated Mental Health Wards, including prison wards. Please see our jobs for current opportunities.

Express Nursing supports a number of private hospitals that require specialist nursing support, including CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services), Learning disability services, Rehabilitation and recovery units, Secure mental health settings, prisons and Care Packages in the community. Get in touch with the team to find out where our clients' current requirements fall.

Express Nursing are a CQC Registered provider for Domicilliary Care Services. We also work with other CQC-regulated providers that require support in quickly securing home care staff. That’s where our Rapid Mobilisation Team comes in. We provide experienced carers and nurses to support homecare providers in getting new care packages up and running, ensuring a smooth transition until their own permanent team is in place.

Express Nursing offer bespoke training dependent on the setting you work in, with specialist training modules designed from Annual Mandatory Training, to specific top up courses for CAMHS, Neurological or Complex Care, we have you covered. We also have access to Face to Face Practical Training.

Our dedicated compliance team will support your registration with fast, transparent compliance processes offering guidance every step of the way.
